Really good! Totally worth going. I got there pretty late so there wasn’t much left, but I had this sandwich that was really well made and super tasty. The coleslaw is also really good. It’s totally worth it to go and eat at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

This place definitely set the bar high for Texas BBQ. If you decide to come on a Saturday, plan to arrive before 10:20 for parking and good spot in line. Parking is tough, if you don’t know how to navigate tight areas. People will make their own parking space. There is additional parking down in the surrounding streets. We came by 10:20am on a Saturday and got to the door by 12pm. Ordering is different from your typical BBQ joints. The kitchen is in the back, so you place your order at the counter and they call on you when the order is ready. I highly recommend using their online ordering system to order, orders must be place 4 days in advance. It is nice that you get to skip the lines though! Highly recommend the beef rib, brisket, turkey, and pork ribs! The mac is more on the dry side, but still very delicious texture and taste wise. Their cobbler is the perfect touch to complete the meal.

This place is everything you’d expect and more from an EXCELLENT BBQ joint. The brisket is unmatched. The bark was seasoned beautifully, and every bite was moist and flavorful. Didn’t even need the sauce, but speaking of the sauce, it was probably the most well balanced sweet and savory BBQ sauce I’ve had. As someone who has tried hundreds of varieties of red, vinegar, Carolina gold, etc, it might be the best red sauce I’ve ever had. The sides were also great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 experience worth the travel and wait.

Was surprised to see a Michelin rated BBQ place, but well worth the hype. Brisket was perfect. The turkey was moist and the ribs were good. Excellent sides and cobbler. Be prepared to wait. This is a well known establishment and people drive from miles around to eat here.

The Brisket is the crown jewel: slow-smoked for 14 hours, it’s a glistening slab of tender, marbled beef. The bark is dark and crusty, seasoned with just salt, pepper, and smoke, while the inside is so juicy and tender that it pulls apart with the touch of a fork. Each bite melts in your mouth, rich with that deep, smoky flavor that only comes from hours of love and low heat. Next to it, ribs—pork or beef, Both are thick, and sticky—dripping with a love that’s been kissed by smoke and heat. The meat pulls clean from the bone, leaving a pink smoke ring that proves its pedigree. There’s a hint of flavor in the rub, more than enough to keep you coming back for another bite. And if you need a break from the that, there’s always a cold glass of sweet tea or a local beer to wash it all down. This isn’t just food—it’s an experience. The kind that lingers on your tongue and in your memory long after the last bite. Great choice when in the area.

CorkScrew BBQ is the kind of place that tests your patience and then rewards you with smoked meat so good, you forget you ever had feelings. I waited in line for nearly two hours. Two hours. I had enough time to reconsider all my life choices, start a podcast, and bond with the strangers around me like we were all on some kind of slow-moving barbecue pilgrimage. By the time I got to the front, the menu had been picked clean like a post-apocalyptic grocery store. All that was left was brisket and creamy potato salad. And honestly? That’s all I needed. The brisket was next-level. It was smoky, tender, and had that beautiful bark that makes grown men cry. I didn’t eat it. I communed with it. The potato salad was creamy, tangy, and somehow comforting in a way that felt deeply personal. Like it knew what I’d been through in that line. CorkScrew BBQ earned that Michelin star with smoke, salt, and pure Texas magic. Get there early. Or don’t. Because even the scraps are legendary.

Holy crap…. Some of the best classic Texas BBQ there is. The marbled brisket is AMAZING. So juicy and flavorful. The pork ribs are also super juicy and delicious. For sides…. The potato salad and baked beans are both hitters

Good, old-fashioned BBQ. They received a Michelin star last year and I can see why. The meats were cooked just right and very flavorful. They had a sweet BBQ sauce on the side, but I didn't need it. The potato salad and the apple cobbler also knocked it out of the park! Located in Old Town Spring - the whole area is a vibe. I'd plan to spend some time exploring and making the most of the trip out.
